A not so small change!

Our combat experience rates have been changed, yes, more xp! You get 80 xp per hit now, instead of 45. It is simply too frustrating for new players to have 45 xp per hit. Moreover, the barbarian assistance quests reward won't be 30k cash, but 250k cash. It has been changed so that new players have money to start off! Also falador received some changes, a ghost captain and an obsidian teleport npc can be found there now! A barrow minigame portal has also been added to canifis. We will concentrate on writing guides about dungeons and minigames in emps-scape now, so that everybody knows what actually exists in our game!
Server Move

Emps-Scape is moving to a new server! As you probably realized the game is currently lagging a bit and sometimes down! This will be changed, we are getting a completely new and much better dedicated host that gives us a much better performance and stability. We expect the game to be down for the whole saturday! Try loading the page every hour or so though, because it is likely that everything is a lot faster back up than expected!
Our first quest!

It's finally there, Emps-Scape's first custom quest! Scroll down at your quest tab in-game to find it. This quest was made for lower levels, it will help them to start playing the game. Other updates are of course bugfixes and stability improvements, as always. We all hope you enjoy this update!
Update package

Quite a lot of updates have been put into our game today! First of all thieving for donator members, click on the skill icon to get more information about it. Secondly, I've decided to remove water vials out of the store and put normal vials to the store. Empty vials can now be filled with water at any fountain or at the water pump in falador. Moreover, you are now able to mix potions together. For example you have an attack potion(2) and an attack potion(1) you can use them together and get one attack potion(3) and an empty vial. The option to empty vials also works for all potions now! Also our range maxhit formule has been changed a little bit, it should be more balanced now. We all hope you enjoy this quite large update!
Client improvements!

Our client has been updated, these updates will take effect after restarting your client. Selected spells are now outlined and the client supports more different symbols, e.g. 'öäüßµ¹²³¼¼'
XP resetting lamps!

This update contains completely new so-called 'xp resetting lamps'. Each lamps lowers your xp in a selected skill by 1000. They can be obtained by killing certain monsters, e.g. General Graardor. We hope you all enjoy this update, especially our pures!
'Perfect' Gold Bar Update

All general stores contain 1.000M 'perfect' gold bars now. They are bought and sold for exactly 1M. These 'perfect' gold bars should be used to buy very wealthful items, e.g. godswords, 3rd age armour, rares, etc...
Firemaking skill & a new shop!

Our firemaking skill is done. If you need help in training this skill simply click on the firemaking skill icon. Moreover, we now have a new shop in falador. The 'super rare shop'. You can buy some oldschool rares from this shop for lots of money. Our fishing skill has also received some updates, fishing spots can now run out of fish! We all hope you enjoy this update.
World 2!

It's finally done, world 2 is online now! We had over 900 players online at this weekend, which is a lot for only 1 world. We hopy you enjoy this large update. It took us a while to get everything working. We expect everything to be working 100% today or tomorrow. World 2 might be temporarily down in the coming 1-2 days.
Dragonfire shield!

Yes!! It's finally there, the dragonfire shield. You get it by smithing an anti dragon shield and draconic visage together. You need 90 smithing to make it. The dragonfire blocks every dragon's breath completely. We hope you enjoy this update!

Wilderness Obelisks

Ever wanted to pk at higher levels, like 50+, but never met people? This will be over! A mysterious mage, called 'Kolodion' has been placed in edgeville. It's not the big, black spider. ;) He teleports you to 1 out of 4 random places in the northern wilderness. You will be teleported to a wilderness level above 50!
Server systems back up!

Emps-Scape is completely back up! The syn flood attacks are still happening, but our server can withstand them much better now. You are able to log onto emps and use our homepage, they might just be a little bit slow and/or you might have to try 2-3 times until you login or until a page loads.
Canifis update!

Canifis has been added to Emps-Scape! you can get teleported there by talking to ghost captain, he will no more teleport you to slayer tower, but to canifis. Same happened with slayertower ancient teleport, it will teleport you to canifis. Moreover we have the real barrows minigame now! You can enter it, by walking whole way through swamps, or by finding a portal in frankenstein castle. Furthermore our door system has received an enormous update, doors will open and close ways better and they have sounds. :) We hope you enjoy this huge update.
Improved magic system!

I've just finished improving our magic system's maxhits. Your magic bonus and level will now increase your magic maxhit. Ice barrages will hit 40+ with good equipment now! We hope you enjoy this update and it should bring back balance into our combat triangle. Magic should own melee, melee should own range and range should own magic.
Weapon poison!

Yes, it's finally there! You are able to poison arrows, darts, javelins, daggers and spears! You can buy 2 different kinds of poisons in Al-Kharid from a poison salesman. The first poison, he sells, inflicts 3 damage and the 2nd one 6. We all hope you enjoy this new update, it was quite a lot of work.
Highscores system

We have just finished and enabled our new highscores system. They are on the website, just press the link on the left (named 'Highscores') to see them. Like the real RuneScape system, you must logout for your scores to be saved. If you are not there, relog and your scores will appear in a few minutes. In a few days all the active players should have appeared on there due to that fact. Enjoy!
Bind and freezing spell update

Binding and/or freezing spells now immediately stop your opponent from moving. Your enemy already stops moving while the spell is casted, of course only if the spell really hits. Pkers will welcome this update, because stopping opponents from moving is a lot easier and faster now! In other news: Status weakening spell graphics & xp have been added. Their effects will be added tomorrow, the 4.09.2009.
Monkfishes!

From now on people are able to fish and cook monkfishes! They heal 16 hitpoints and have a fishing and cooking requirement of 60. Moreover an update against autobuyers has happened, which I won't explain in detail. People were able to autobuy at dedicated places.
New dungeon - Edgeville dungeon!

A new dungeon has been added. It can be entered where Greya earlier was. You will find hill giants, zombies, skeletons and hob goblins in the dungeon. Mainly weaker players will enjoy those npcs. Our greya dungeon can be accessed by a ladder, which has been placed north of falador.
Donator Member Bugfix

A bug has been in Emps-Scape that donator members lost all their donator member days. If this has happened to you, contact a moderator or admin in game! Our date calculation was wrong and every month hop made you lose 100 member days. This is now fixed and will never happen again. I am very sorry for it and once again, if you lost your member days, contact a moderator or admin in game! If you try to betray us with your member status, you will be banned. (we can check if you donated for your member status)
Bugfixes

Other players were able to steal npcs you attack you magic in single combat areas. This bug has successfully been fixed. Moreover our Duel arena doesn't have a trade and challenge rightclick player option anymore. You now have 1 option where you click 'Duel with' or 'Trade With'. This fixes the problem that you don't suddenly send trade request, although you dueled your opponent. As some of you already recognized we now have a run orb right of the minimap. In other news: The bug that your minimap looked strange has also been fixed. We have had a problem in our update procedure.
Game improvements

Today I have added a max player load amount, which rises with your game time. At your login emps will only load 25 players and for every more second you play it can load 10 more players, until it reaches 120. Moreover your character will be logged off from emps faster, if you lose connection.

Welcome to the new Emps-Scape website! It has a brand new design and a new forum system, hosted on our server instead of ucoz. This means we get a number of benefits and soon we will be creating new features (such as high scores). Enjoy!
